Many infectious diseases can be avoided by lsticking to basic
hygiene rules. Unfortunately there is a hugh lack in bringing the
necessary information to the people. Many people simply do not know why
and what to do.
Once a month, the CAMDOC staff organizes informative sessions with the
village people. With instructive material and discussions, for example
about the causes of diarrhoea, the staff tries to make clear how
people can avoid illness by simple preventive measures.
At schools we distribute from time to time tooth brushes and paste and demonstrate how to brush and explain why it is so important.
With financial support of CCA hygiene articles, like soap, tooth paste and detergent are offered in the villages at affordable prices.
